Lao Language and Culture Class
After our winter break, LAWA has re-opened Lao Language and Culture School for the school year 2013 once again, beginning on Sunday, January 6, 2013.
We now have a parents' manual with registration form. This form must be filled out and returned prior to your child beginning classes. Lao School Parent Manual
College and Vocational Training Scholarship
Applications are being accepted. Awards up to $1000 to each recipient.
Deadline for accepting applications is April 25, 2013.
Visiting the Lao Kitchen
LAWA brought together traditional old world recipes from different regions of Laos into one sensational cooking experience. Each recipe is published in English and in Laotian. There is a list of traditional utensils that you will need along with a list and pictures of the various ingredients. Don't know how to cook Lao but want to? Now is the perfect time to purchase this one of the kind cookbook!!!
